What BannerLab is
BannerLab is a free web service that helps small shops, event organizers, and solo business owners create presentable banner designs without any design software. Even if you have never touched Photoshop or Illustrator, you just choose a background, type your text, and swap fonts until you find a combination you like.
It is especially handy when you need a banner in a hurry — a store opening, a sale, a festival or sports-day notice, a property ad. You can produce a vector, high-resolution file on the spot, saving both the cost and the wait of outsourcing design work.
How to use it
- Open the editor — click "Open Editor" at the top.
- Choose a background — pick an image that fits the mood from the list at the bottom.
- Enter text and change fonts — add lines like "GRAND OPEN" or "30% OFF everything" and try different fonts.
- Adjust the size — enter the size you will actually print (e.g. 1000 × 300 px).
- Download — save in the format you need: SVG, PDF, or JPG.

Frequently asked questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Designing and downloading in BannerLab are provided free of charge, with no sign-up required.
Can I send the file straight to a print shop?
SVG and PDF are vector formats, so they stay sharp at large sizes and suit big prints well. Check the specs (size and margins) your print shop requires and match them in the editor.
Does it work on a phone?
It runs in mobile browsers, but detailed placement and sizing are easier on a desktop screen.
